Practical Pistol Bay "B"

Do to the nature of this class attendance will be limited to 5 shooters.

  You will be required to safely operate your firearm without instructor assistance. This course will require you to perform several high round count high rep shooting drills under stress. You will also be expected to strictly demonstrate muzzle and trigger finger discipline.  ANY unsafe act will result in dismissal . 

If you're ever confronted by a deadly force situation you  WILL NOT  “rise to the occasion”  You will most certainly “sink “ to your highest level of training and experience.

  You are your own first responder,  no one is coming to save you. 

Course Requirements  
Course Cost: $250 

You will need your everyday carry hand gun   

A good quality rigid  strong side OWB holster, Kydex or leather fit for your gun No Serpa or open top Uncle Mike's nylon type holsters.  

No appendix carry 

A good rigid belt    

At least 3 magazines for your carry hand gun    

A double magazine holder   

At Least 400 rounds of ammunition     

Eye and ear protection    

Plate carriers and body armor are encouraged but not necessary  

Dress for the weather

Water

Arizona concealed carry permit class with shooting qualification.   Progressive Defense Systems offers this comprehensive course that will not only meet but exceed the state training requirement.  

Once obtained an Arizona CCW permit will give the holder not only added benefits in the state of Arizona they will also enjoy reciprocity and the ability to carry a firearm in 38 other states.

You will learn the legal aspects of carrying a concealed firearm.  

Use of force. The basics of situational awareness. The “Cooper color code”. 

Interaction with law enforcement and other required topics to prepare you to be a responsibly armed citizen.

During the live fire exercise you will learn safe handling of your firearm ,basic marksmanship and clearing basic pistol malfunctions.

Upon successful completion you will receive a certificate showing your completion of training as required by Arizona DPS.  

Cost: $75.00. 

Fingerprinting will be available for a $20 fee.

If you will be completing the application in class you will need to include a $60.00 MO made out to Arizona DPS for the application fee. 

Course Length: 8 Hours. Classroom and range live fire.

Equipment: An appropriate firearm and 50 rounds of ammunition. At least 2 spare magazines for your pistol. Eye and hearing protection. Water. A pen and notebook. Classes held at Ben Avery Shooting facility.
